At the weekend Electric Athletics took two of the programmes cheerleading teams to Winter Gardens, Blackpool to compete at the two-day JAMFest Northern JAM cheerleading competition.
Electric Athletics Shockwave, whose current division is Junior Level 1, were the first to the floor. Hitting zero on their first routine and they came away from the competition with second place
Electric Athletics Volage, whose current division is International Under 12s Level 1. Hitting zero on their second routine, they came away from the competition with sixth place.
Head Coach and Programme Director Becky Whittle said, “What an amazing weekend we had at this competition, and I am so proud of every single athlete on both teams. This is the first time that a number of the athletes had taken part in a two day competition. JAMFest Northen JAM was a hard competition with some great cheerleading teams from across the UK Competing.”
