Last weekend (Friday 29th September) athletes from Electric Athletics cheerleading teams took to the stage at The Trafford Centre to perform as part of the shopping centres 25th birthday celebrations.
The iconic Northwest shopping centre was built 25 years ago in 1998 and has since become a hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Manchester, drawing crowds from all over the country.
The one-hour Endless Fashion Event, hosted by radio presenter Chelsea Norris, featured 90s pop sensations B*Witched, who are also celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, as well as incredible dance acts, archive video footage, iconic fashion and music from across the decades.
Electric Athletes took to the stage entertaining the crowds with their energetic cheer routine, including stunts, tumbling, and dancing.
Head Coach and Program Director, Becky Whittle, commented “I am so proud of each and every one of these athletes who performed at The Orient in the Trafford Centre at the weekend and came together to create and learn this routine. The support we had from the crowd and the visitors was amazing and we are privileged to be part of the celebrations for the Trafford Centres milestone.”
