Electric Athletics Awards Night 2024

As Electric Athletics wraps up its thrilling first season, athletes old and new are gearing up for try-outs, ready for team placements at the end of July. Earlier this month, the Electric Athletics family came together for a night to remember at the spectacular Awards Night.

Held at the charming Hayloft in Warrington, the Awards Night was a whirlwind of laughter, dancing, and joy. The atmosphere was electric, with everyone celebrating the incredible achievements of the past year. Athletes from across different teams were recognised with various awards, including Cheerleader of the Year and Most Improved Athlete. A highlight of the evening was the beloved tradition of the Paper Plate Awards, handed out to every member of the Electric Athletics World Teams (EA Midnight and EA Twilight), adding a fun and personal touch to the festivities.

Head Coach and Program Director Becky Whittle shared her enthusiasm, saying, “It was fantastic to see such a great turnout at the awards ceremony. It was a wonderful opportunity to thank all our athletes and their supporters for their hard work and dedication over the last 12 months. The energy in the room was truly inspiring, and it’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.”

The event was not just about the awards but also about celebrating the community that has formed around Electric Athletics. Families, friends, and supporters came together to honour the athletes’ dedication and passion, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere that embodies the spirit of cheerleading.

Established in 2023, Electric Athletics cheerleading is dedicated to creating a positive, safe, and fun-filled environment for athletes of all ages and abilities, from age 3 to adults, across the Northwest. Our mission is to foster a supportive community where everyone can thrive and develop their skills, whether they are complete beginners or seasoned cheerleaders, dancers, and gymnasts.
