Electric Avenue Is Now Officially Open!

The new gym, located off the M602, has a brand-new full size cheerleading spung floor, ample parking, a waiting area for parents, an onsite café, and a dedicated space to display all team competition banners and trophies. 

The new gym will be home to multiple cheerleading teams in the program including some of the prep/novice cheerleading teams, Allstar cheerleading teams and the two international cheerleading teams that compete at the ISAF Cheerleading Worlds competition in Orlando, USA. 

The new dedicated gym opens up endless opportunities to develop the program such as tumble and cheer camps in the school holidays, additional tumble classes as well as specialised classes such as Flicks and Tricks, open gyms, cheerleading parties and more concentrated time in class focusing on all aspects within cheerleading. 

Commenting on the new gym, one of the athletes mum said “The gym is fantastic and allows the program to offer the athletes more opportunities to continue doing the sport they love with the friends and teammates they love. I can’t wait to see what’s next for all the teams at Electric Athletics.”

Becky Whittle Head Coach comments, “We feel so lucky and unbelievably grateful to have this amazing space. The new gym which is fully equipped with a permanent full cheerleading sprung floor and other specialised equipment, gives our athletes the very best experience possible.”

Established in 2023, Electric Athletics cheerleading aims to provide a positive, safe space, in a fun filled environment for athletes of all ages and abilities from the age of 3 up to adults, across the Northwest. With cheerleading teams across the Northwest, both in Salford and Warrington and offer not only Allstar Cheerleading but Recreational Cheerleading as well as Prep Cheerleading as well. At Electric Athletics, we welcome everyone from complete beginners to experienced cheerleaders, dancers and gymnasts.
