Electric Athletics Have A New Home
The coaches at Electric Athletics are excited to announce that as of the 4th of September 2023 our Salford Location will be known as Electric Avenue and we will be moving to:
Salford Gymnastics Centre,
Camp Street,
Higher Broughton,
Salford,
M7 1ZT.
Within our new training venue, we will have:
- A Brand NEW Permanent Full size Cheerleading Sprung Floor.
- Access to gymnastics equipment.
- Routine Playback System.
- A place to display all of our teams’ competitions banners and trophies.
- Access to a “Parents Room” with viewing TV Screens displaying the Gym
- Buzzer system to access and exit the gym – keeping our younger athletes safe during training.
- Upstairs Café.
- Our very own office and meeting rooms.
- Access to onsite Gym Membership – Spotters Gym
- Access to onsite Boxing Club
Head Coach, Becky comments “This is an amazing opportunity to grow as a club, but most importantly allow our athletes to progress within the sport. For 11 years we have been building a Sprung floor, which takes time, effort, loyalty, and a lot of motivation to do this every time. Plus, building tracks and mats during the week. This is all about to change. We finally have a place to call home.”
We hope that Electric Avenue, alongside our Warrington Location at The Wire Gymnastics Club can be a safe haven for our athletes of all ages. Opening up opportunities for Term Time Holiday Camps, Tumble Classes with the right equipment, and more concentrated time in class focusing on all aspects within cheerleading.
Becky concludes “This year we placed 2nd, and 5th in the World, and 3rd at the American National Championships. Imagine what we could do with the right equipment to aid us.”
Our new location has opened the doors to more availability and better use of the cheer floor and space and everyone here at Electric Athletics are looking forward to the exciting times ahead.
