EA Athlete & Family Expectations
Time Commitment
Attendance is essential to success. Unlike many sports, each athlete’s presence directly impacts the entire team and training session. Repeated absences may affect an athlete’s role or position within the team.
Absences
If you are unable to attend a session outside of school holidays, please inform the coaching team using the following form: Absence Form Link
Red Zone
All athletes must be present during the three weeks leading up to any competition or showcase. Failure to attend may result in partial or full removal from routines.
About Cheerleading
Cheerleading is a unisex sport that includes tumbling, stunting, pyramid, dance, and jumps.

Code of Conduct
- Always demonstrate good sportsmanship and polite manners
- No smoking or alcohol consumption in EA branded apparel or near training/competition venues
- No drugs – violations will result in immediate removal from the programme
- Wear the correct training kit and uniform for practices and competitions
- All communication with coaches must be via email: electricathleticsuk@gmail.com. Do not use social media
- Inappropriate social media posts may lead to suspension or removal from the team
- Punctuality is mandatory for all sessions and events
- No gossip about athletes, teams, coaches, or staff
- Under 16s must be collected from the gym doors. They may not walk to the car park alone
- Practice schedules may change or include additional sessions
- Threats to quit or pull your child from a team will result in immediate dismissal
- Only athletes and coaches are allowed in the gym. Spectators may be invited at the coach’s discretion
- Parents must stay informed via email, team Facebook groups, and Coacha
- Missing practice or competition as punishment is unacceptable. Homework is not a valid excuse
- Do not contact event producers or competition officials – this is strictly prohibited
- Parents may not represent EA in any official matters (e.g., competitions, accommodation)
- No arguing or questioning coaching decisions at competitions
- Issues involving athletes or parents will be addressed through a meeting with the coach, welfare officer, and owner
- EA reserves the right to refuse services at any time
- The programme owner may revise rules at any point during the season
